1970s Became internationally acclaimed graphic designer through his axonometric alphabets
1980 Served as Board of Director of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI)
1980s Started making alphabet sculptures and also advanced into the field of product design
Collaborated in the foundation of the Faculty of Design at Tama Art University in Japan,
and was the first Head of Design Department
1994 Ended his 25 years of design activity and moved to Los Angeles to become a sculptor
2004 Returned to Japan and produced various sculptures and reliefs for public spaces all over the country.
Resumed his design activity from another view point as an artist
2015 Appointed as emeritus professor of Tama Art University
